Now bathing.

Three sessions this week we think are worth the trip — chosen by ear, vetted in person, written about with care.

iii.
Where to drift.

Sound Dip is biggest in Brooklyn and Joshua Tree, but we cover thirty-two cities in total. Pick a destination — or browse for one.

iv. · For your first time

Your first dip.

A sound bath isn't a workout, a class, or a performance. You lie down. You close your eyes. Vibrations from bowls, gongs, and voice wash over you for an hour. Most people fall asleep at least a little — that's the point.

i
Arrive ten minutes early. Most spaces lock the door once the session begins. Bring socks, a water bottle, an open mind.
ii
Lie down. That's it. Mats and blankets are provided. You won't be asked to move, chant, or do anything. Just breathe.
iii
Surface slowly afterward. Don't rush back into the day. Walk home. Drink water. Take a note if something rose up.
